This was me, yesterday. Me: hum de dum. *unlocks mailbox* Me: Ohh! mail! from the US goverment! it looks like a check! *greedily rips open envelope* Me: It is a check! wohoo! *reads check* Me: It's my state income tax refund! Double wohoo! *reads amount* Me: wohoo! four dollars! ... ... huh? four dollars!?? what??? *insert sound of happiness splatting on the floor* Me: Psh. so much for getting that hooker. P.S. There's another entry before this one. Hmm. Is anyone else being told they need a gold membership to add an entry? I had to edit an old entry to write this. I hope we don't have to pay to keep using D-land. that would suck ass.
