You know what scares me most? Old people driving. Just this morning, on my way to work, I was passed by a guy who was doing 75 and was at least ten years older than that. He had the sort of blank expression you expect from a thirteen year old looking at his father's collection of playboys for the first time. His mouth was hanging open as if he didn't have enough energy too keep it closed and he was leaning against the steering wheel to keep him upright. For a moment I could almost imagine that this I was in a crappy kids movie and the geezer had through some humorous accident had been locked in a car that then fell into gear and was now zooming along the freeway at speeds even I dare not go, leaving him in the drivers seat to go along for the ride. In retrospect, I've decided that he had either just robbed a bank and was hurrying to get away, or instead was hurrying to change his diaper. Either one, I'm glad I wasn't in his way.
