Have you seen all those stupid people talking about how when you use drugs or drive an SUV you're funding terrorism? Their argument goes something like: "Well, when you buy drugs, the money ends up in the hands of terrorists, and when you buy a lot of gas, you increase the US's dependence on foreign oil and therefor makes us weak and defenseless!" Though I'm personally against drugs because they typically make you stupid, hyper, or just plain irritable, I somehow doubt that pimpin' G down on the corner of 5th & main is slipping a few benjamins to the local al-quadia cell every time he sells his cache just to stay in their good graces. And despite the fact that I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND the stupid motherfuckers who drive their bohemoth SUV's like they own the goddamn road, it's not them that's causing us to be dependent on foreign oil. It's the oil companies. You think they'll just sit idly by as Americans jin in unity and happily stop driving their gasoline guzzing autos? no. Do you really think that somebody out there hasn't already figured out a cheap, efficient alternative to oil? I'm sure they have. I'm also pretty sure they're a few million richer for having been bought out by the oil companies. So no, drugs and SUV's aren't our problems, our problems are terrorists. They're a wily little bunch, and I doubt that stopping smokey McPothead and his buddies from toking up in their parents' SUV's will really stop terrorism. The solution is stopping all the beurocratic bullshit, loading a bunch of willing GI's onto a big plane, dropping them into the middle east, and letting them track down the terrorists. Even better yet, let's just round up all the druggies, arm them, put them in SUV's and send THEM to the middle east. That'll solve a lot of problems.
