Laying here, watching late night news, I saw where someone commented how that congress was considering re-instating the draft. Land of the free my ass. Considering that the draft was at one time ruled unconstitutional, how could they even consider re-instating it? The scariest part is that with the current anti-middle-east and pro-war attitude of the governemnt and a large portion of the populous, people are actually considering it. Given, it has a very small chance of passing, but the fact that it's out there scares me. Now I can safely assume there are those pompus assholes out there who will read this and say, "How can you talk about freedom, when you're not willing to defend it??" To answer, I simply say this. I'll gladly defend our country, but we have no business getting into a war with Iraq because of a grudge George W. has against Saddam. The US has no business in Iraq, let alone the dozens of other countries we seem to believe that we need to babysit. If anyone is of concern right now, it's N. Korea. We KNOW they have weapons. At any rate, in case we see the end of the world sometime in the next few months, I just wanted to say that it's been fun. Kinda.
